The United States Air Force (USAF) is a branch of the United States Armed Forces and is one of the eight uniformed services of the United States. Originally created on August 1, 1907, as a part of the United States Army Signal Corps, the United States Air Force was established as a separate branch of the United States Armed Forces in 1947. This roundel is low-visible and is the primary roundel currently used on U.S. warplanes. This is a structured trucker hat (Richardson brand). The embroidered patch is 2.5 inches wide and is attached with a commercial heating/pressure process. The hat is a six panel, structured ball cap. The front is heather gray, the bill is navy and the back mesh is dark red. Make sure you are wearing a Revival™ ball cap.
