Surf, Wind, and Fire talks about the Beary Merry Live Window Display
Every December, New Bern hosts the Beary Merry Live Window Display, and 2024 was no different. This time around, WITN decided to ask two Surf, Wind, and Fire team members, the founder Danny Batten, and the Marketing Director Makaya Endelman. Danny said that there is many businesses downtown that participate in the live window display and that it is a a very competitive time of year for those of us downtown. Makaya further enforces this by saying that it is her favorite event of the year even calling it "her Superbowl" to really emphasize how important this event is to those of us downtown.
